Mind the Gap: STEM and our Future Workforce
WM Symposia is devoted to fostering science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) engagement as a pathway to energize young minds. To develop and maintain a pipeline that delivers our future workforce, we must work together to support STEM initiatives for younger students. WM2024 will feature activities highlighting STEM throughout the conference week including interactive panels, a teacher workshop, a STEM Zone in the Exhibit Hall and much more for you to participate in and support.
Please consider one of the opportunities listed below for your Sponsorship investment.
STEM ZONE | SOLD This featured space in the exhibit hall will showcase a wide variety of STEM resources. Your company logo will be displayed on the overhead STEM Zone sign and will also be used wherever the STEM Zone is promoted.
Contribution: $6000.00
LONGENECKER CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE | Established during WM2023; – Longenecker & Associates, along with Spectra Tech have agreed to donate $50,000 over a 10-year period, at a rate of $5,000 per year.
If one organization commits to a single donation of $50,000 by the end of 2024, Longenecker will fund all $50,000 in 2024.

Any organization donating $5,000 will answer the Champions Challenge.
STEM SCAVENGER HUNT | SOLD Each Scavenger Hunt participant receives a map of the Exhibit Hall with the booths marked that are giving away the scavenger hunt items. WM2024 attendees can visit the booths of the participating exhibitors to collect STEM-related items that will be donated to area schools. The sponsor logo is displayed on the top of the map and anywhere the Scavenger hunt is promoted.

STEM SCAVENGER HUNT PARTICIPATION | Provide sharable STEM item to give to attendees participating in the Scavenger Hunt. A list of recommended items will be provided. Requested quantity of 125 of provided items. WM will provide a small tabletop sign indicating participation, as well as a map to participants with your booth location identified.

STEM SCAVENGER HUNT BAGS | SOLD These bags are used to hold the scavenger hunt items and then are donated to the recipient schools.

INVEST IN OUR FUTURE AND GET INVOLVED WITH STEM
STEM Visionary – $1000:
STEM Programs – funds to support scavenger hunts, notebooks, conference demonstrations/activities, student interactions, off conference events.
- Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, Arizona Science and Engineering Fair etc.
STEM Supporter: $1 – $500 (Donor Directed amount):
Donation – support WM STEM programs, outreach to underserved institutions.
- Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal, urban educational/vocational STEM programs to introduce nuclear fuel cycle, remediation, waste management concepts.
STEM Student Artwork Notebook | SOLD
WM2024 has an exclusive STEM notebook to feature the STEM Student Artwork. Due to limited availability, these notebooks will be a very popular commodity.
Every 10 lined page within the notebook will have a color insert that will feature a student drawing on one side, and a sponsor ad on the other side.
