Technical Program Student Assistants help Session Co-Chairs run a smooth session during the conference. Students will be assigned sessions based on preferred topic and availability. Please read the WM Student Guidelines on our website for duties, responsibilities and eligibility.
STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION
The Poster Session is intended to be an effective and enjoyable method of presenting scientific papers. In this informal atmosphere, students are given the opportunity to meet and interact with the industry professionals. View our Poster Competition page to learn how to submit your abstract.

STEM ZONE SEEKS STUDENT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH WM2026 SCAVENGER HUNT
Since 2019, WM2026 has provided over 5,000 STEM kits to educators. As part of this robust program, vendors donate items that attendees collect to be included in STEM Kits that are distributed to Arizona educators and STEM Council Members after the conference. If you are a student attending this year’s conference and would like to help facilitate this year’s scavenger hunt (Monday, March 9 – Wednesday, March 11), please contact Jessica Vasseur at Jessica.Vasseur@icp.doe.gov. This is an excellent opportunity for students to network with a variety of nuclear industry professionals representing several different fields of interest.

The Roy G. Post Foundation has awarded scholarships to more than 375 undergraduate and graduate students from all around the world. STUDENT CAREER CENTER
WM offers a CV/resume portal where students may upload their information and career goals. You may log in to the WM Symposia website and access the portal on your profile home page under “Student” section. Your CV/resume and career goals can be viewed by Conference attendees.
