THE UNITED KINGDOM PAVILION
Visit with friends and colleagues from the United Kingdom (UK) – our Featured Country for WM2022 – in the UK Pavilion where over 24 UK industry and academic exhibitors are displaying their capabilities and experiences. They will be joined by the Nuclear Decommissioning Agency, National Nuclear Laboratory, and the UK’s Department for International Trade. Please join us for the UK hosted evening reception on Monday in the exhibit hall from 1700-1830 and enjoy some of UK’s wonderful and unique local food and beverages.
OAK RIDGE AREA FEATURED SITE
Learn more about progress being made in Oak Ridge, scientific advancements, and about the companies in Oak Ridge making it happen. As the WM2022 US DOE Featured Site you can visit the Oak Ridge exhibit hall area showcasing the companies doing business there, the work being done, and opportunities to support them. Plus, attend Oak Ridge Evening Reception on Tuesday 1700-1830 in the exhibit hall and experience a taste of Tennessee!
TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION PLUS DEMO ZONE
Experience the technology and innovation our industry partners are developing – driving efficiencies and creating a safer world. The exhibit hall will feature a technology and innovation area with a Demo Zone dedicated to showcasing these advancements. You can experience demonstrations such as:
- Robotic and scanning technology for radiological and munitions projects by ARSC Industrial Services
- Innovations in macro encapsulation bags by Strategic Packaging Systems and I.C.E.
- Radiation detection for waste characterization by WMG, Inc. and CAEN S.p.a.
- Ways to stay ahead of the competition doing business with DOE by theEdge
- Virtual reality software for dose rate modeling – this demonstration will allow attendees to navigate through a simulated facility and track their accrued dose, by Kinectrics
- Dose rate modeling software showcasing Attila’s CAD integrated with GUI for MCNP calculations and solution visualization by Kinectrics and Silver Fir Software

We are excited to showcase our STEM Zone, themed: Mind the Gap: STEM and our Future Workforce! Our unique STEM Zone will display a variety of activities, success stories, and much more where you can experience how you and your company can become industry partners in this important initiative. Ideas will be on display for how to get involved in your community by implementing or enhancing STEM programs, partnering with schools, or sharing best practices and innovative ideas with educators.
