Session Co-Chairs
The Session Co-Chair(s) facilitates and moderates the presentations for a given WMS session and adheres to the following Session Co-Chair responsibilities:
- Before the conference, discuss with the paper reviewer and session sponsor any special concerns or restrictions of the presenters.
- Contact the presenters 2-4 weeks prior to the conference confirming attendance and determining any special conditions.
- Attend the Speakers breakfast the day of the session.
- Perform the duties as outlined in the instructions to Session Co-Chairs found in the WM2011 PAC Policies (linked below).
- Accurately complete all requested forms and reports. Submit these documents to the WMS staff after the session.
- Nominate candidates for best poster and best oral presentations.
- Act as a WMS ambassador managing the presentations during the conference promoting professionalism and high ethical standards.
